Juan Litovichi and Carlos Hug de Belmont launch Verafood to consolidate Argentine and Paraguayan meat suppliers for retailers joining IBM Food Trust.

Smart Trade Networks partnership
After IBM Food Trust stalled during the pandemic, they partner with Warwick Powell and Charles Morris (Smart Trade Networks, Australia), creators of Beefledger — the world's first cattle tokenization in 2019.

Liberty Post
With Dennis Menéndez and Wayne Teigen (ex-IBM) in Austin, Texas, Liberty Post is created — a food provenance platform applied to Ecuadorian cocoa and chocolate exported to the U.S.

Darwin Evolution is born
With the FDA FSMA Rule 204 published, Darwin Evolution launches as a technology solution for Latin American producers and exporters to the U.S. and Europe.
